Macdonald Old England Hotel and Spa

Already checked in, when sleeping, I heard the sound of rain. I didn't expect that the room was really leaking, and the roof facing the bed was also leaking. Although you changed us to a bigger room with a large and two single beds, the single bed was an extra bed and was not comfortable. We were wearing pajamas, carrying shoes, and some birthday gifts. Finally, my daughter's headphones were left in the previous room. Later, we had to get up and go to the original room to find the headphones. Because the room card was in the original room, we had to go down to the lobby to find someone to open the door. In short, it was terrible. What's more ridiculous is that there were only 2 small bottles of water in the room. When I asked them to send more, they said they would charge. This is the first time I have ever encountered this. We changed to the so-called big room, but there was no heating. The mattress of the small bed I slept on was also uncomfortable. We didn't sleep well for one night. The next day, we were all in pain all over. My daughter's condition was even worse. She caught a cold, but I barely managed to get to the next attraction. The UK is very damp and cold. Just imagine an empty room with no heating, cold hands and feet in the morning. This experience is really terrible. I must give them a bad review.
